trianglular theory of love
Today in psych, we were introduced to Sternberg’s Triangular Theory of Love. Below are the meanings for the labels:
1) COMMIMENT + INTIMACY = Companionate Love = Affectionate Love = mushy mushy = "patter often found in couples who are married for many years" (Santrock 2003)
2) PASSION + COMMITMENT = Fatous Love = one person worships the other from a distance = bengga lang ng bengga kahit takpan mo yung mukha = no mushy mushy
3) PASSION = Infatuate = "an affair or a fling in which there is little intimacy and even less commitment" (Santrock 2003) = physical attraction lang = LIBOG!!!
4) INTIMACY + PASSION = Romantic = syota to the fullest level = siguro marami rin silang iba pang kasama ka-relationship = papasa na silang gang bang if combined haha… :p
5) INTIMACY = Liking = swak ugali niyo or nagkakasundo kayo
6) COMMITMENT = EMPTY = why the hell would anyone put this put this? = siguro for dragging couples = pasayahin niyo naman mga bf/gf at asawa nyo… :p
7) CONSUMMATE LOVE = combination of the three = dito dapat sana lahat ng relationship para walang gulo = isipin niyo…. type niyo isa’t isa, swak sa ugali, overflowing sexual potential at tatagal pa! yown!
That’s it! Pasenya sa na lang kay Sternberg at Santrock at abnormal yung nakabasa sa kanila. Wahahaha! Ingat sa lahat ng mga pogi’t magaganda.
